PREFACE
The first edition of the journal came out in June 2018, followed by the second edition in 2019 thus, maintaining the regularity of the editions. This is thus the third edition. We are truly making progress. I am pleased to see the very high quality papers in the second edition of the journal, mostly from Nigerian researchers. These papers cover a wide range of engineering issues which should form the basis of rich materials for discussion by researchers.
I hereby commend the members of the Editorial Committee under the chairmanship of Engr. Professor Salihu MUSTAFA for their painstaking effort and sacrifice to get the journal out in record time.
I am truly very grateful on behalf of our Academy to the Honourable Minister of Science and Technology, Engr. Dr. Ogbonnaya ONU for his consistent support and financial grant to the Academy which ensured the sustained production of the journal.
It is my hope that the journal will enhance the development of research activities in science and engineering technology not only in Nigeria, but worldwide.
